Considering the growing number of workshops, meetings, conferences, barcamps, hackathons and other events that have an open science component, it would be nice to start collecting information about them systematically and in a way that persists longer than the typical event pages on the web.

Where would be a good place to gather such a collection?

One way to go about this could be to build on the OA Tracking Project, which already has an open science tag: http://tagteam.harvard.edu/hubs/oatp/tag/oa.open_science .

http://oad.simmons.edu/oadwiki/2018

this open access directory lists events about OS&OA

and this radio station website http://www.openscienceradio.org/team/ has introduced the recent barcamp&conference #osc2018 #oscibar

You'd also wanna take a look at the European Commission page on OS http://ec.europa.eu/research/openscience/index.cfm?pg=home

Ask Open Science used to be called Open Science Q&A but we changed the name when we registered the domain ask-open-science.org. Everything else stays the same: We are still hosted by Bielefeld University.
